OUR FAVORITE FEATURE – The view for sure! Some of our guests have been delighted to see deer, wild turkeys, and lightning bugs. In the distance we overlook the “muck” fields which are typically planted with celery and onions.

Our porch boasts a steady (or strong) breeze, too much for mosquitos to contend with.

NOTABLE FEATURES – What is unique to the porch is that while the rest of the house and porch is built with Yellow Pine (from South Carolina), the flooring on the porch is Michigan White Oak. The railing was inspired by an REI store in Seattle, Washington.
